Moxis makes beaches safe with digital beach data: Safety and technology go hand in hand

The iconic red and white lifeguard towers that adorn Danish beaches in summer are more than just symbols of safety. They also represent an advanced digital data collection system that ensures accurate and up-to-date information about bathing water temperatures, wind conditions and lifeguard activities. Behind this comprehensive data collection is the company Moxis, Denmark's only Moodle Premium Partner.

Advanced technology behind the beach experience

Every day, TrygFonden's lifeguards send information from the beaches to a central database that collects the information that many beachgoers look for before packing their beach bags, such as information about blue flags and current water temperatures.

Moxis, part of Praxis, plays a key role in this data collection because the company, in collaboration with TrygFonden, has developed a specialized lifeguard app that lifeguards use daily to report data. This app is part of Moxis' comprehensive LMS solutions, which are designed to meet the specific needs and challenges of different organizations and companies.

"Few people realize that there are many hours of development behind these weather and beach forecasts that we rely on before going to the beach. But we are proud that we have developed this in close collaboration with TrygFonden because the purposes and needs are so specific and meaningful," says Tue Korsgaard, CEO of Moxis.
